Simon was admitted to the Paris bar in 2000 and holds a Master in Private Law, a Master in Business Law and a Master in Finance (including banking management). He also graduated from Cornell University (USA) with an LL.M.

 Simon Azan is a partner in the Firm’s Mergers-Acquisitions/Corporate/Innovation practice group. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity (venture capital, growth capital, LBO) and corporate law. He advises companies and investors at various stages from incubation and equity financings to external growth transactions and exits (M&A, IPO).

 Simon’s clients evolve in different industries:  banking, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, etc.

 Simon seated during three years in the commission Best Practice Capital Développement de l’Association Française des Investisseurs pour la Croissance (AFIC). He is the co-writer of Guide Pratique du Capital Développement de l’AFIC and of Private Equity Handbook 2005 (French section). He is the co-author of the book « Levée de fonds : aspects pratiques et juridiques » (Lamy, 2012).

 Prior to joining Bochamp, Simon worked for French and Anglo-Saxon law firms (Linklaters, Dentons and Ayache, Salama & Associés).
